THE NEW CURRICULUM
Parents call it confusing,
Students find it exciting,
Teachers think its enticing,
All in all, it’s the new curriculum
The interesting new curriculum,
With very many outcomes,
It makes students innovative,
Perhaps even creative,
Activity of integrations done at a topic end,
Projects made with a lot of effort,
A curriculum that has begun in this era,
It’s like a movie trailer,
It involves research,
With unique questions that are asked.
It involves students to present,
And the teachers to correct.

THERE WILL BE NO REGRET
A big role it will have to play,
My love for it can’t just fade away,
Until I don’t see it working,
But that’s not happening,
Because it’s fruits are already showing,
A mere look at the American,
The president knew we also can,
Train the young as much as we can,
Get creative industries we can run,
And bring out the true beauty of a Ugandan,
The existence of the new curriculum,
Has caused us to stand very firm,
Talents are promoted and new things have come,
Hobbies, more like on the farm,
Have turned out to be our sources of income,
A smile has come on my face,
Because poverty will have no space,
And Uganda won’t be a backward placed,
But instead a country full of grace,
As long as the new curriculum
is still in existence,
There will be no regret.

THE CHANGE
Everything is not the same,
Because everyone says it is a waste of time,
But it is not a crime,
Because they have not taken enough time,
To understand perfectly all its rhyme.
For any person it befits,
Because it comes with a lot of benefits,
But needs everyone to get space on their feet,
In order to have enough feat,
To have a better profit.
The new curriculum has given everyone a reason,
To bring the change and be the change,
Which is the reason for every season,
For now, skills have become our big lesson.
We have made it our friend,
For unemployment will have,
A miserable end since it has become the trend,
No more tears will be shed,
For this is a dream I can’t trade
Cause it is a change.

The Secret about projects
In Uganda, we’ve got a new curriculum,
Full of projects that are quite formidable.
We’ll learn about coding and building machines,
And how to design and create innovative things. We’ll study science, technology, and math,
And the skills we learn will pave our path.
We’ll work on projects that are creative and new,
And build a better future for me and you. With coding skills, we’ll make websites and apps,
And learn how to solve complex problems and traps.
With science projects, we’ll learn about the world,
And how to make it a better place for all boys and girls.Complied by Nalukenge ShatrahIn Uganda, we’re excited about this new curriculum,
And the opportunities it brings are just phenomenal.
We’ll work together to create, innovate, and build,
And make our dreams a reality that’s forever thrilled.
